We are proud to share that with the efforts of Plastic Free Prakruthi, several children of ragpickers from Doddabalapur have been successfully admitted to government schools!This marks a significant step toward our mission of transforming lives through education. These children, once disconnected from classrooms, now walk proudly into schools with books in hand and hope in their hearts.We thank our volunteers, supporters, and the local community for making this possible. Together, we are not just reducing plastic—we are building futures.
The Doddaballapur Nagarasabha Municipal Office recently hosted a special screening of the thought-provoking movie “My Responsibility” to raise awareness about the pressing issue of plastic waste. The event brought together police officers, local politicians, and community members to educate and inspire collective action towards reducing plastic use. By showcasing the film, the office aimed to spark a sense of responsibility among citizens to adopt sustainable practices and mitigate the harmful effects of plastic pollution. The screening served as a platform for the community to come together and discuss ways to promote eco-friendly habits and protect the environment. Through this initiative, the municipal office demonstrated its commitment to fostering a cleaner, greener future for Doddaballapur.
